Festival Tent Rentals Made Easy
In Wisconsin, festival season runs from summer through fall. There are music festivals, art festivals, beer festivals, food festivals. You name it and there is probably a festival for it. In fact, Milwaukee is known as the City of Festivals. Other cities throughout Wisconsin are no slouches about their festivals, either.
One thing no festival can do without is a party tent, or two or three. And for anyone planning a festival in the Milwaukee, Madison or Appleton area, our event rental companies have you covered (both literally and figuratively).
Rentals available for festivals:
Large pole tents can accommodate hundreds. |

There is no extra charge for the delivery and setup of your tent rental. We do need to know ahead of time, however, where the tents are to be set up. We’ll check to make sure there is not a potential issue with overhead power lines or large trees that may be susceptible to branches breaking off if there is heavy rain or wind.
We’ll also contact Wisconsin Public Service to have the area marked for underground power lines, gas lines, water lines or cable TV lines. The stakes we put in the ground to secure our large tents go quite deep into the soil, so it’s essential to know we’re not pounding them into anything other than dirt.
If you’re wondering if a festival tent can be put up in a paved parking lot, the answer is yes. However, this involves drilling holes in the asphalt for the staking. These holes are approximately 2” in diameter and can be filled with gravel/dirt and topped off with asphalt after the tent is taken down. If this is a concern, our smaller frame tents can usually be anchored on paved surfaces using large water barrels as anchors.
At events with many different exhibitors or vendors, small canopy tents are often lined up in a row. These are typically 10’ by 10’ or 10’ by 20’ tents. We have supplied these tents for many events, including the Yum Yum Fest in Madison.
One other thing to keep in mind: With tents large enough to require staking, you will need to plan on approximately 5’ of additional space on all sides of the tent for the support ropes.
